Trees for the Future

In an effort to stop global warming and in order to reduce our carbon footprint, OAKWORKS^® has become a Global Cooling Partner of Trees for the Future, a non-profit organization established in 1988 to help reforest the earth. Trees for the Future has created programs which restore forests on degraded lands, thereby improving the overall quality of life of indigenous people in developing countries. Not only do we plant a tree for every table sold, but as part of our sponsorship, an audit has been conducted to determine how many trees need planted to completely offset our carbon footprint. National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc.

OAKWORKS^®launched an innovative philanthropic program in the summer of 2007 to support Breast Cancer awareness and the search for a cure. OAKWORKS^® is proud to be a corporate sponsor of the National Breast Cancer Foundation and has created the “Comfort That Cares”  line of accessories that are sold as part of the campaign.

OAKWORKS^® has cut its paper usage in half in the last year by implementing various programs such as e-invoicing and e-commerce, electronic promotional materials and web-based customer communications, to include significant investments in creating comprehensive public, B2B, and internal websites.
