Sustainability

Since 1978, long before it was a world wide trend, OAKWORKS has taken a step by step approach to ensure a high level of protection for human and health environment. This is one of our most important and continual initiatives in sustainable development.

Trees for the Future

In an effort to stop global warming and in order to reduce our carbon footprint, OAKWORKS has become a Global Cooling Partner of Trees for the Future, a non-profit organization established in 1988 to help reforest the earth. OAKWORKS has financed the planting of over one million trees, which now provide food, shade, and a source of income to many families.

Trees for the Future has created programs which restore forests on degraded lands, thereby improving the overall quality of life of indigenous people in developing countries. Visit trees.org for more information.
